Our stay at Kendenup Lodge and Cottages was truly memorable - a peaceful retreat nestled in 40 acres of bushland, offering a perfect blend of relaxation and adventure. The cozy cottages, well-equipped for self-catering, provided a comfortable escape after days of exploring the nearby Stirling and Porongorup Ranges. The on-site cafe was a delightful surprise, serving up mouthwatering dishes like the delectable Lamb Shanks paired with local wines.The shared kitchen and BBQ area fostered a sense of community among guests, enhancing the overall experience. The fireplace in the shared lounge added to the charm, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere on chilly evenings. Our room in the main building was thoughtfully appointed with modern amenities, ensuring a comfortable stay.Although the restaurant's limited opening days required a bit of planning, the option to prepare our own meals only added to the sense of freedom and flexibility during our stay. The attentive staff went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met, from providing ample firewood for the fireplace to offering tips for outdoor activities like mountain climbing.Kendenup Lodge and Cottages proved to be a haven for nature lovers and those seeking a tranquil retreat.
